When im using the dropdown element, it comes with a fixed style and fixed color, is there any way that i can change that like set the background color to white .

You can edit the style in the styles tab of the editor, but one thing to note: In many browsers, the browser itself is going to override any styling you put on the dropdown unless you modify the CSS directly.
