Gift Cards/Certificates and Stripe

Hi everyone!

I was looking for a way for folks to purchase gift cards to gift to someone else.

Anyone have any experience with this and can point me in the right direction?

I found a third party option listed on Stripe’s site, giftbit.com, and might give it a try.

Did you find s solution for this? Did you use giftbit.com? I’m looking for similar functionality where one user can reward another user with a gift card.

Hi Philip,

I didn’t end up setting up giftbit but I was in touch with them and was able to ask questions about the process. They have changed their name to Lightrail, btw.

The setup was a bit more complicated for my platform than was worth the time investment. But they were quick to reply to questions about the underlying functionality so if you’re considering it, definitely reach out. https://www.lightrail.com/
