Is it possible to make an HTML "not-clickable"?

Hello, I come on today to ask if it is possible to make an HTML element not clickable.

I am creating a christmas theme for my site with a snow overlay like shown below:

This was achieved by HTML. But, due to this being on the page, any buttons below it are not clickable. I want to make it so this HTML element is not clickable so I am able to click the buttons below it.

Try using a right click on the html element and choosing Send to back so that all other elements will be on top of the html.

Yes, I understand the use of that. But the reason I did not do that is because I would like the snow on top of the buttons as well.

Find a snow gif and set it as the background.

Maybe you can add an invisible button overtop your buttons kind of in between your background to make it look like its snowing over the buttons. Try that.

One bottom layer has buttons.
Middle layer has snow.
Top layer has the invisible buttons for the user to press.

Each layer would have its own group.

Might get tricky unless everything lines up correctly especially with responsiveness. Hope this helps :slight_smile:
