Searchbox: I've lost the plot

Stuck on search box autocomplete: searching on First name basis, but wish to see last name too in the drop down list of search box. but instead, if there are two identical first name, the last name of the second one is shown as (1) - any tips?

It’s only going to show the first name if that’s the field you’re searching by. The (1) just indicates a duplicate of that text in your database so that you can “keep them apart” even though that doesn’t truly help. So, the (1) isn’t the last name.

I suggest having a “Full Name” field and save first and last name texts in that field and search by that instead so that you can see a person’s full name.
