The “Shrink the element height if the text gets shorter” was a nice addition to the text element last year. I think many of us use it primarily to collapse the element when invisible, which is great because we no longer need a separate group for this.
But in the end, I think the collapse functionality should be a separate option on the text element (and on all elements for that matter, as all elements need this) because I often have elements that I don’t want to shrink but I DO want to collapse when invisible. In these cases, I still have to use groups.
In the end, I’m probably the only one who cares about this, so instead I’ll just go cry and eat ice cream…
