I see that a number of people have asked, but there is no feature to allow users to upload a csv file that can be converted to a Thing. Is there any chance this will be developed in the near future? Are there any alternatives/plugins that handle data uploading anyone knows of?

This is a complex issue because uploading CSV data means data validation, and while we can expect our users (app builders) to do this carefully, from the end user it’s a bit tougher, and makes the operation less easy. If it’s critical we can talk about sponsoring it, but it’s not starightforward unfortunately.
