What is Return types in the Plugin Editor Actions

Hey Developers…

I don’t know if this just because I had a long day and I am tired or am I missing something here…But what is this Return types can’t seem to find it & most importantly what does it do?

So basically what I am trying to do is run and action and have a callback return the result. See the sample code below…
